Crickets, whippoorwills and the whispering evening breezes! This Hill Country summer has been amazing so far.
Other sounds that have been sweet music to my ears are the sounds of cuts off our new projects due out this fall. John Mills Times Ten will be presenting their sophomore album full of great Mills compositions and stellar performances by everyone in the band! AND (trumpet fanfare here) songs by our newest artist to join the Fable Records roster, our very own Robin Mordecai.
Robin takes Fable Records full circle back to its rock roots (i.e. Zilker Sunday, Zeus and Gypee Eyes). His debut EP features four of his original tunes on which he sings and plays all the rhythm instruments, inviting in some featured guests including singer songwriter Grace Pettis, Kirk Covington on Hammond B3 and Alexandre Remoue on guitar. Check out this track from the CD which will hit the streets in October!
